Some companies use the gift card as a one-time promotional gift, while others prefer re-loadable gift cards in various amounts such as $25, $50 or $100. Either type can have an expiration date, if desired(Please See Gift Card Laws). Our gift cards can be printed in 1 to full color on both sides, and can be produced with a bar code or magnetic stripe programmed to work with your point of sale systems (credit card reader) software for tracking, re-loading and storing customer information (which can pulled up each time the card is swiped through the system.) Our cards can also be printed with a signature panel or numbering for customer identification purposes.

Your POS Provider and Your Gift Card Printer

Please note that CLS Plasticard will not contact your POS provider(Point Of Sale) about your gift card printing job. We'll give you the information we need to produce your custom plastic gift cards. All bar code and magnetic stripe information must be given in writing via e-mail. Depending on the information you give us from your point of sale company, we may require that you take a "live" sample of your card to test in your system to ensure that the cards will work correctly. This saves time and headache for all involved parties! Production time is 5-7 business days from proof approval to ship date during non-peak and 7-10 business days from proof approval to ship date during peak season.
